Hello, I closed my business in June of 2024. I am just wondering if I cancel my subscription if all my data currently in QuickBooks will still be there.

Will my data still be available after I cancel my subscription.

Hello, I closed my business in June of 2024. I am just wondering if I cancel my subscription if all my data currently in QuickBooks will still be there.

I know how important it is to be clear about your data and how it will be handled after you cancel your subscription. If you cancel your account, you'll still be able to view your data in a read-only access for one year from the cancellation date. This means you can still view company information during that time, but you won't be able to make any changes or updates.

 

Thus, I recommend that you export or print some of your important information before canceling your account.

 

When you're ready to cancel your account, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online as the primary or company admin.
  2. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon, then Subscriptions and billing.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, click on Cancel subscription or Cancel online. If you're canceling a trial, select Cancel your trial.
  4. Complete the on-screen steps.
