HI, I'm using QuickBooks Online Plus. Mistakenly I Create 2 Companies, now I want to delete 1 Company permanently, it's irritating, kindly help.

Hi there, younaszia-gmail-. You've made the right choice of using QuickBooks Online Plus.

Let me help you out with your concern and share some information on what to do to eliminate the company we've accidentally created.

If we've created a trial service, the company will automatically cancel after the free service date ends. QuickBooks offers 30 days to experience trial. However, even if we're using a trial or paid subscription, we can still cancel it anytime.

Doing it means inactivating our company, and then it'll be deleted after a year. It's how QuickBooks works to help us review our data from our account by having view access, but we're unable to add any information after the cancellation.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings under Your Company.
  3. In the Billing & Subscription tab, click Cancel your trial or Cancel subscription.
  4. Click Continue to cancel. Choose a reason why you'll want to cancel it.
  5. Once done sharing feedback, click >> button.
  6. Hit Got it to confirm.

Here are some screenshots for additional reference:

If we have created more than one company, we can switch between them anytime to view the canceled and active subscription. Let's take a look at this sample screenshot:
