It's great having you here in the Community, Lucia. Let me help you get the primary admin access in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If the primary admin or contact is unable to transfer the role to you, I recommend contacting our account protection team and requesting to be the primary admin. They'll be requiring you to provide documents for security purposes and to verify everything. This way, they can initiate and transfer the Admin access to you.
Another option, if you can still access your account as as Company Admin, you can purchase a 3rd party service to migrate your data to a new QBO account.
