We hear you, Cliff. Since the Tool Hub didn't resolve the issue, the next step is to uninstall and then reinstall QuickBooks Desktop. This process will remove any unnecessary files that may be causing the problem, allowing for a fresh and error-free installation.
If the program still won't open after this fresh install, it typically indicates a deeper issue with your Windows Operating System. In this case, I recommend working with a qualified IT professional or contacting Microsoft to repair the underlying Windows files that QuickBooks needs to run.

I have tried to remove QB 2024 and reinstall, but I get an error message that another process hasn't finished, and it will not let me remove it. How can I stop any process that is running?
Great News, I was able to remove QB2024 and reinstall and repair the software and can now open and start working again. Thank you for all your help.
