I've found several investigations about this error message specifically when adding users in QuickBooks Online. If I may ask, what particular tasks you're doing when this error comes up? If you're trying to invite a user from the Manage Users page, our engineers are now all hands on deck working together to fix the issue as quickly as possible. While they're currently working for a solution, I encourage reaching out to our Support Team so they can add your account to the notification list. Once added, you'll automatically receive an email notification with the latest updates.
To contact support, tap on Contact us from the Help menu.
If you're doing other transactions and receives this message, we can perform the basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. Sometimes, the regular browser tends to hold onto information, and over time it could cause problems while working with QuickBooks.
To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift +N
