I want to change my payment method to monthly instead of yearly. How can I do that after my account has ben suspended because of the failure of my annual payment.

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community, ammarzietoon. I'll be providing details on how changing a subscription works in QuickBooks. Let me also ensure you can modify it from monthly to yearly and update the payment method within the program.

Beforehand, please know that when switching to a different billing schedule from a suspended annual subscription to a monthly one, you need first resume as annual and then switch to monthly billing. You will get a refund for any unused portion of your old annual plan that we can't roll over as credit on your new plan.

Then, you can follow the steps below on how to change your payment method.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ and select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Next to your payment method, choose the pencil icon ✎.
  4. Edit the payment method used for QuickBooks Online billing (expiration date, billing address, account holder name).
  5. Add a new payment to be used for QuickBooks Online billing.
  6. Switch QuickBooks Online billing to the previously stored payment method.
  7. Click Save and Done.

After that, here's how to reactivate your account:

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ at the top.
  2. Under Your Company, choose Account and Settings.
  3. Choose Billing & Subscription and Subscribe. Then, enter the updated company profile.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Select Payment Information type (Credit/Debit card or Net Banking) and enter your bank information, then Resubscribe.

Then, to switch from yearly to monthly billing, follow these steps.

  1. Go to Settings , then Account and Settings.
  2. Select Billing & Subscription.
  3. Click Switch to monthly billing.
  4. Select Switch, then Done.
