Is there a way to stop QuickBooks from asking for a code every time I am signing in?

Hello there, @info2017.

I'll ensure to help you stop QuickBooks from asking for a code every time you sign in to your account.

Our top priority is the safety of your account. We all know that passwords, on their own, are not always secure. If someone gets your password, they can access your account and make unauthorized changes. That's why we enhanced our security and added multi-factor authentication and Two-step Verification.

In your case, the Two-step verification is turned on, which helps verify your identity with a one-time passcode every time you sign in on any device.

If you wish to turn this off, you can do so. However, If you opt out of this feature, we still ask you to verify the first time you sign in on an unrecognised device.

To turn off the feature when using the same number you used when you set up the account:

  1. Sign in to your Intuit Account.
  2. From the Sign-in & security section, select 2-step verification.
  3. Turn off the Use 2-step verification switch.
  4. Enter your account password, then select Continue.
  5. Then, a message reads that 2-step verification is now off, and you can also receive an email confirming your security preference update.

If you're using a different phone number, refer to this article in the Turn-off two-step verification section for further guidance: Verify your QuickBooks Online account with multi-factor authentication and two-step verification.

Please check out this article for future reference if you encounter issues when signing in to your Intuit account: Recover your Intuit Account if you can't sign in.

Feel free to reply to this thread if you have additional questions about login verification. I'm always here to assist you.
