I'll make sure you're able to view the bill number. To verify, are you using QBO mobile app? If so, you'll want to reset the app to refresh. Let me guide you how.
The above steps will clear and resync your data. It'll also help fix the unexpected behavior of the app.
After that, close and re-open the app. Then, check your bill number again.
