Hi Guys,
We need to do a reset on quickbooks online to delete all current data. Unfortunately, we have had the quickbooks account for more than 6months so the 60day period won’t be an option for us.
is there a solution how to do that?
Thanks for your help.
Luka
It's my priority for you to reset your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data, luka-broz.
For the QBO account for 60 days old or older, the option we have is to cancel your account. This way, you can start a new company.
Here's how to cancel your current account:
For more details about this one, check out this article: Cancel your subscription. After you cancel your subscription, you can still view your account, but you're unable to add any data to it. It will be deleted from our system after a year.
Once done, you can now start a new company. Just sign up for QBO and enter your user ID and password. You can use the same user ID and password you used before.
To learn more about starting over with new books, refer to this article: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.
I have a link that provides you with articles about managing your account: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/manage-your-account/misc/02/manage-your-account-global?l....
I'm just one post away if you need a hand with running your business in QBO. I'll be here to ensure your success. Take care always.
Thanks for the prompt reply.
if I delete the account, will I be able to set up the same company? I don’t want to setup new company but the same we have with all the testing data out.
will I be able to do that?
thanks.
Hello, luka-broz.
I'd like to share some details about canceling the account and what will happen after. I'll also add some instructions on how to remove the current data for your current account.
When you cancel the account, QuickBooks Online will keep your data for one year. This means you'll have read-only access to view your reports and lists within the year, and the company will be deleted after. With regard to the new subscription, you can set up the same company and enter the correct data.
If you wish to keep the current account and remove all the data recorded, you will need to do it manually. Note: Once a transaction or list is deleted, we're unable to reverse it.
For removing the customers or vendors, you can make them inactive by following these steps:
To delete the transactions or account in the Chart of Accounts, I've got these articles that provides the instructions:
After removing all the test data, you start recording the correct information.
Please let me know in the comments if you have any additional questions or other concerns. Take care and stay safe.

Providing additional information or a screenshot would be extremely helpful in allowing me to understand your situation better.
I'll also add this article to help you manage your QBO subscription: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info.
