Hello there, mahesh5.
Setting up barcodes is currently unavailable. However, we have the SKU feature, which is used to help track your inventory items. I'll show you how:
You can also use one of our third-party apps that will help you integrate barcodes into your inventory. I'll be attaching these references that will help you in adding inventory products in QuickBooks Online and run reports to keep track of your sales and inventory status.
Should you have any other questions, just mention me in your reply or posts. Take care!
What kind of business do you run? A wholesaler or else? You may need an additional app to integrate with your QBO.
Thanks we are in cosmatic business import from australia to sri lanka
Explore this app to integrate with your QBO. Intuit has acquired it last year to be part of the family. It supports barcodes & barcode scanning within the web & mobile applications. You simply need to generate your barcodes and input them into the app against your SKUs. It requires barcode numbers to have at least 6 digits or more, otherwise, they are not guaranteed to work. Then, every time you have to create a sales order/purchase order you can scan the barcode of the product to retrieve the product from the app instead of manually typing out the SKU.
