INTUIT DATA PROTECT

I have been using the backup service for MY DESKTOP for over five years. My subscription is current. Lately i have not been able to back up manually or scheduled. No matter how many times I click on the ICON, or try to access it through the  Back Up Company file in QB the BU wont load.

 

I also got a message saying that my INYUIT DP credentials need to be changed 

 

How can I do this without accessing the Data Protect

 

Any helop will be aprr

I can help you with resolving the error you have to back up with Intuit Data Protect successfully, @SelCBC.

 

You can run the IDP Diagnostic tool. This will detect any issues with your firewall or any third-party security software. 

 

To access:

 

  1. In the Windows System Tray, right-click the Intuit Data Protect (green padlock) icon.
  2. Choose About Intuit Data Protect.
  3. To open the Intuit Data Protect Diagnostics Tool, press Ctrl+F2 on your keyboard.
  4. Select Run Diagnostics.

 

Once done, try to make a backup with Intuit Data Protect.
