I can share with you some information about how the Point of Sale (POS) works with the other version of QuickBooks.
At this time, you can only connect and share your QuickBooks POS data to QuickBooks Desktop. The option, it not yet available with QBO. As a workaround, you may enter the POs transaction manually to your QBO from the (+) New icon or through your account register.
Just in case you want to use a third-party application when working with QBO, you can visit and check for compatible apps through the Apps Center.
Here's how:
- Open this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/.
- Select your region from the drop-down beside the magnifying glass.
- Look for an application from the search field.
