We can generate an invoice for the products and services you sell to your customers if you want to get paid in the future.
To create an invoice using the new invoice layout, please follow the steps below:
- Click on the + New and then select Invoice.
- Select Add Customer and choose a customer from the dropdown list. Make sure all their information is correct, especially their email address.
- Review the Invoice date, Due date, and Terms. You can enter new dates or terms if necessary.
- Select Add product or service and choose a product or service from the dropdown list. You can also select how to calculate the charge amount - whether it's a flat rate, by item, or by hour.
- To customize the information or design of your invoices, click the Gear icon "⚙" and then choose the options from the side panel.
- Once done, you have several options for saving or sharing the invoice:
- If you're ready to send the invoice, select Review and send to email the invoice to your customer. You can adjust the email if needed and then select Send Invoice.
- To send the invoice later, click Save and Close.
- To print a paper invoice, click Print and Download.
- If you've received the payment from your customer, select Receive Payment.
- To send your customer a link to their invoice through text message, select Share link.
