Hello @Joe Victor,

Thank you for posting here in the Community. I can share some information about setting up the currency in QuickBooks Online.

Currently, the option to use South Sudanese Pound (SSP) as your currency is unavailable. We continue to make improvements to the product, and this option might be available in the future.

In the meantime, you can visit our QuickBooks Blog website. It contains some information to stay up to date on the latest features and options.

For additional reference, I've attached an article about the currencies available in QuickBooks: List of supported currencies.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I'll be happy to help some more.

I found this question posted almost 2,5 years ago. I have the same issue. I need to record transactions in SSP. Will it be available soon?

Or can you suggest a work around?

Hi there.

Welcome to the Community space. Let me share insight about the South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) in QuickBooks Online.

At the moment, the Sudanese Pounds (SSP) is not yet available in QuickBooks Online. For now, you can use the supported currencies in QuickBooks.

I know how beneficial it is to have the South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) as a currency in QuickBooks Online. You can submit a feature request to our product engineers to add SSP to the currency list.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then Feedback.
  2. Enter Add South Sudan Pounds (SSP) in the currency list in QuickBooks Online.
  3. Then select Next.

You can check the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests page to track feedbacks.

I'll be sharing these articles that will guide you in setting up multi-currency in QuickBooks:

I'm just a comment away if you have any other questions. We're always here to help. Take good care!

Dear All,

I have made repeated requests to add SSP in QBO but all the answers to me by the customer service is that they have raised this to the engineers for product development.

Sad that 8 months since I lodge my first request and still no result.
