View report of inventory adjustment in "quantity" rather than $ value

Hi

So we are attempting to use quickbooks as a bitcoin broker, and it is proving to be quite difficult.

One issue I have is I can't seem to find a way to show quantity on the inventory shrinkage report. It shows in dollar value, and as the bitcoin price is constantly changing we want to be able to see the quantity of the adjustment rather than the dollar value.

Is there a way to view total quantity of inventory adjusted?

View report of inventory adjustment in "quantity" rather than $ value

Hello there, tcs101.

I can guide you on how to run a report that shows the total quantity of inventory adjusted.

You can run the Inventory Valuation detail report. This way, you'll see the inventory quantity adjusted. Then, you can export it to excel. From there, you can customize it and remove those unwanted data. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the search area, type in Inventory Valuation Detail report.
  3. Enter the data range.
  4. Click on Run report.
  5. At the top of the report, select the Export icon dropdown, then choose Export to Excel.
  6. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it.

Once done, you'll need to click Enable Editing to view and make changes to the Excel file. For your reference, you can review this guide: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.

For more insight, you can visit this resource to find helpful information that could help you run the inventory reports: Use reports to see your sales and inventory status.

Feel free to reply to this post if you have further questions about Inventory reports. I'll always be here to help you out.
