Can i schedule a report automatically and save it on particular path in Quickbook Desktop

QuickBooks Desktop has a Scheduled Reports feature that allows you to send reports on a regular and recurring scheduled time. You can set up a scheduled report to automate the task.

Some requirements should be met to ensure the report will be sent at the scheduled time. Please check the pointers I've listed below:

• Make sure that the computer you set up the scheduled report on is running and NOT in sleep or hibernate mode.
• The User Account Control should be turned OFF.
• QuickBooks Desktop is running.
• A company file with a scheduled report should be open.
• If you have scheduled reports on multiple company files, no company file should be opened.
• The program should be updated to the latest release.
• Your company file is in single-user mode.
• Make sure that the Keep QuickBooks running for quick startups option is turned off. Follow these steps to be guided in checking it:

1. Select Edit from the top menu bar.
2. Choose Preferences.
3. Go to General, then click the My Preferences tab.
4. Untick the Keep QuickBooks running for quick startup checkbox.

I am not looking for the email auto scheduler.

I am looking for the scheduler that will store the report in drive path.

Currently, the option to auto-save a report on a particular path in QBDT is unavailable. As a workaround, you can look for a third-party app that lets you save your reports automatically.

1. Go to this link: Apps for QuickBooks Desktop.
2. From there, enter a keyword for the specific app you're looking for in the Search field and click the magnifying glass to search.
3. Click on the View Profile button to see more details about the software.
