Can you substitute a gmail account for intuit when sending a statement

When I send a statement via e-mail it goes from an intuit account and not my gmail account. I can do this for invoices but not statements

Can you substitute a gmail account for intuit when sending a statement

I hear you, Trevor. 

 

QuickBooks Online allows you to send invoices through your connected Gmail account. However, sending statements using the same email address won't work. This is because the email-sending feature only works for invoices, but not on statements. 

 

But don't worry, we have a workaround that can help you. You can download the statement you want to send and then send it outside of QuickBooks. This way, you can easily send statements to your customers.

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Click + New and select Statement.
  2. In the Statement Type field, select the drop-down and choose the statement type you want to download: Balance Forward, Open Item (Last 365 days), or Transaction Statement. 
  3. Enter the date range you want to view the statements for in the Statement Date field.
  4. In the Customer Balance Status field, choose the status you want to display: Open, Overdue, or All in the drop-down. 
  5. Verify the Start Date and End Date fields and click on Apply. 
  6. Choose the customer whose statement you want to view or download and click on either Print or Preview.
  7. Close the PDF viewer when you're done.
