How can I edit the 'message to customer' email on statements? I can edit same on invoice, receipt and quote but not on the statement.

Hello there, @accounts-bluepro

Currently, the option to edit the message isn't available for Statements.

I can see the need of modifying the statements from QuickBooks. I'll take note of your idea to make sure our developers get your feature request.

In the meantime, you can submit feedback yourself by going to the gear icon and selecting Feedback.

For future reference, check out relevant topics in our QuickBooks Articles hub. You can search for some pointers and ideas from other users.

Feel free to message again if you have additional concerns. Take care!

It seems quickbooks hasn't done anything on this since 2021....

I appreciate you chiming in on this thread, SATN. Allow me to share information to ensure you're able to edit the message to customer email on statements.

If you're referring to the Email Body when sending out customer statements, we can edit or add changes from there. Once you're done reviewing them, you can click on Save and Send to open the printable statement form. I've added a screenshot for reference.

Additionally, you can set up default messages for your statements from the Accounts & settings. To do that:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Accounts and Settings.
  2. Click on the Sales tab.
  3. From the Messages section, click Edit.
  4. Under the Sales form dropdown, choose Statement.
  5. Edit the message from the Email message box.
  6. Add additional changes and click Save. Then, Done.

However, if you're referring to the Message box directly printed on a statement, I'd recommend sending this relevant request to our product engineers. This way, they'll consider this suggestion and will work on its progress to include them in our future product enhancements.

Here's how to submit feedback:

  1. Click on the Gear icon and select Feedback under Profile.
  2. Enter and share your feedback or suggestion.
  3.  Then, click Next to submit.
