I am getting negative numbers for some of the tax values in the GSTR2A Mismatch report due to which we are not getting exact match any one know why negative numbers

Hi there, @adityasolarpower.

I've got some info on what's causing the negative amount in your GSTR2A Mismatch report.

Based on discrepancies identified in your report, here are the probable reason for the mismatch:

  • The seller has mistakenly reported the invoice in the buyer’s name
  • The buyer has mistakenly or has not reported a purchase invoice in his books of accounts
  • The seller has not reported an invoice in his sales return

To correct this, you'll have to modify your purchase transactions in QuickBooks that's causing the issue. Or else, contact your supplier(s) and inform them about the changes they might want to make on their side of the uploaded data.

For more details, you also can refer to this article: GSTR 2A reconciliation in QuickBooks.

Let me know if you need further assistance with this. I'm always around to provide answers and clarifications to your questions. Have a great day ahead and take care.
