I can not access one report created by me while I was primary admin, now I am an accountant as well. It shows under the audit log but I cant access it.

I have been a primary admin as well as an accountant as well but when I was primary admin only, I created one payable report and it goes to some users who are no more working with us. I want to edit recipient but I cant access it.

Let me offer you a warm welcome to the Community. I'll help you access your custom reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @CA Shekhar.

What you can do first is to open your browser's private window. It allows you to isolate cache, which is the common culprit for unusual behavior in browsers.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If that works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Otherwise, open an alternative browser that's available.

I'll also share this article that lists other custom reports you can create in QBO: Common custom reports in QuickBooks Online. It includes a short description for each custom report, along with the steps on how to generate them.

Let me know in the comments below if you have other questions about custom reports. I'll be around to help you out. Enjoy the rest of the day!

Thanks, Ryan, for an immediate solution; however, it says, "You are not allowed to see Memorised Report owned by someone. Is there any way to see such reports with ownership?

I can share some insights on how to access the memorised reports in QuickBooks Online, @CA Shekhar.

If you want to access the memorized report, you can request the one who created it to share the access with you. Sharing the report will allow you to see the report without the prompt. Please note that this applies only to existing users added in QBO.

Simply go to the Custom Reports menu and click Edit on the memorized report. Then, the creator can select the users he wanted to share the report with:

If the person no longer has access to the company file, you need to recreate the custom report and save it again. See this link to learn more about memorising reports in QBO: Memorise reports in QuickBooks Online India

Please visit us again if you have other reporting concerns for QuickBooks Online. We're happy to accommodate you here in the QuickBooks Community. Have a fun day!
