Hi there, @hello154.

I can share some insights about pulling this kind of report. The Profit and Loss only show your income and expenses, while you can see your stocks on the Balance Sheet since this report reflects your assets, liabilities, and equity.

In your case, I suggest pulling up the Balance Sheet/Inventory Valuation Summary and Profit and Loss report. You'll have to export both reports to Excel since we're unable to show the closing stock left at the year-end to your PL.

Here's how to export reports:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. From the Standard tab, select a report.
  3. Click the Export button.
  4. Select Export to Excel.

Once ready, you can open the stock data from your Balance Sheet/Inventory Valuation Summary Excel file to copy and paste it somewhere in your PL Excel file. This will help you show closing stock in PL.

In addition, this article contains a report list that will show the data you need including what’s on hand, the cost of goods, etc.: Use reports to see your sales and inventory status.

If there’s anything else I can help you with, feel free to comment below. I’ll be more than happy to lend a helping hand. Wishing your business continued success.
