I want to know how to create sub group of account, also know how to create ledger account with under the subgroup

Hi there, coolanil444.

Currently, there's no option to create a subgroup of accounts in QuickBooks. And, to make ledger account with under the subgroup.

However, you can create subaccounts to break down your expenses, income. Before doing this, you'll need to create a new parent account . Then, follow the steps below on how to create sub-accounts.

To add a subaccount under an existing account, here's how:

  1. Go to Settings at the upper right corner. Then, select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select New. Select the account type and detail type. You can learn more about detail types if you have questions.
  3. Select Is sub-account and then enter the parent account.
  4. Give your new subaccount a name. You can also add a description.
  5. For the as of date, tell QuickBooks when you want your account to start. Then add the Balance in the account as of the date you choose.
  6. Hit Save and close.

You can also turn an existing account into a subaccount. Follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the account and choose the drop-down in the Action column. Then select Edit.
  3. Select Is sub-account and then enter the parent account.
  4. Click Save and Close.

For additional information, you can check this article: Create subaccounts in your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

You can also use the class tracking and location tracking to track your transactions by departments, product lines, or any other meaningful segments in your business. And, to let you see all the payments for one location and deposit them as a group. For additional information, you can check the articles below:
