Hi, Karen! You're in the perfect spot to get help with your customer-related question in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

There is currently an ongoing investigation into the issue with closed books, which cannot be accessed after entering the password. I understand how this situation affects your business tasks, and I want to direct you to the best available support to help identify and resolve this issue. They can add your company information to the list of affected users. This way, updates will be sent to you via email regarding the progress of the investigation.

Our goal is to ensure that all affected customers can use the program smoothly and complete their tasks on time. Our engineers are actively working to fix this unusual behavior. Here’s how:

1. Access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company. Go to Help (?).

2. Choose either of these tabs:

  • Assistant tab and type Talk to a human.
  • Search tab and click on Contact Us to connect with a support expert.

3. Select the preferred method of contact (phone or chat).

You can check this article to learn the support hours and contact us at a time convenient: How and when can I contact Support?
