I agree with the many other users who have said that there should be a role, such as in house accountant, that can see the projects overview tab.  I have users that should see the project overview tab, but NOT access payroll.  Most of our users would greatly benefit from the project overview, but I do not want them to have all the other privileges of company admin.

If I made everyone who needed the project overview a company admin, most of our users would be company admins.  When you run a project based business the overview is very important.

I appreciate your thoughts on enhancing user roles within QuickBooks, specifically about including an in-house accountant role with access to the projects overview tab but limited access to sensitive areas like payroll, @JAberle.

Currently, the ability to configure any role or access to make this available for your users is unavailable. Although this feature is not yet available, we highly value customer feedback and encourage you to submit your suggestions through our feedback channel.
