(Report-Standard Reports-General Ledge) Ledger show mix report. It should show which ledger code comes first show first and then other, it show mix report. Solution?

In QuickBooks Online, the General Ledger report under Standard Reports displays accounts in a mixed order. It should list ledger codes sequentially, starting with the first. Currently, it's unordered. What’s the solution for this issue?

(Report-Standard Reports-General Ledge) Ledger show mix report. It should show which ledger code comes first show first and then other, it show mix report. Solution?

It depends on the layout you’re using, as QuickBooks Online allows customization of the General Ledger and Standard reports, Ali.

If you’re using the Classic view to generate the General Ledger or Standard reports, you can set the date range in the Report period and use the Sort option to display ledger codes sequentially.

Here’s how to do this in Classic view:

  1. In the General Ledger Report interface, set the date in the Report period section.
  2. Click the Sort option.
  3. In the prompt, click the dropdown arrow under Sort by and select the desired sorting.
  4. Tick Save customization.
  5. Rename the custom report as needed in the prompt.
  6. Click Save to keep the report.

If you’re using the Modern view, you can also adjust the Report period, apply filters, and use ascending/descending arrows to sort the data.

Here's how:

  1. Open the report and set the date in the Report period section.
  2. Click the Filter icon and select your filtering criteria.
  3. Use the Ascending/Descending arrow on the column headers to sort the data.
  4. Click Save as, and rename the report if desired.
  5. Click Save to keep the customized report.
