Running Inventory Valuation Summary Report Vs Inventory Valuation Report on the same financial year byt the one of the SKU (product) quantity is different in the reports

I appreciate you for posting your concern here, oneexcelglobal.

Both reports should generate the same data of your inventory by sorting and filtering the same options between the reports.

Still, I'd like to see why it happened. Can you share what country/region you're using for your QuickBooks Online company? You can also provide a screenshot. That surely helps us determine the reason the quantity is showing different. Just make sure to cover all the important details before posting it here.

While waiting your response, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.Let's start by logging in to your account using a private or incognito window. An outdated or corrupted site data causes unexpected behaviors error in the program. These are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If that works, we can go back to your main browser and clear the cache and cookies to elimnate the accumulated junk files. Switching to other supported web browsers can be a good alternative, too.

I've gathered a few articles for tips and information about managing QuickBooks reports.
