Trial Balance

Hi

I have ran a trial balance report as at my financial year end.  I have noticed that the total of my 3 nominal accounts payable (€, GBP and USD) is different to the total of my unpaid bill detail report total.  I am of the understanding that these two total should be the same. Any idea what is my best approach to locate this error.

Hi there, @ME-.

I've come to help review the difference in the total amount showing on your Accounts Payable (A/P) account and the Unpaid Bill report.

It's possible that the currency isn't applied to the unpaid bills that's why there's a difference in the total amount. To verify, you'll want to review each of the unpaid bills and check if the appropriate currency was selected.

To do so, you can open the Unpaid Bills Detail report again and open each bill. Then, make necessary changes to the bills to match the total amount of your A/P accounts.

I'm adding this article to learn more about using multicurrency in QuickBooks Desktop: Set up and use Multicurrency.

If you need further assistance with this, feel free to leave a comment below. I'll be standing by to your response.
