Hi there, @Jimmyd998.
Let me provide a couple of insights into how to make this resolve your Banking accounts QuickBooks Online.
The audit log in QuickBooks Online keeps a record of your tasks. You can view who modified your books and what they shifted. With that, we can check the audit log to see if an account has been added.
Here's how:
If you don't see any changes, let's try to open your QuickBooks in a private browser to see if you get the same result. Using an incognito window prevents the cache from saving your data. It is also a good way to determine if there is unexpected behavior within the browser.
Refer to these shortcuts:
If this works fine with the private window, you'll need to clear your browser's cache to keep this from happening again.
Once done, you can go back to the Banking menu to match and categorize your bank transactions.
Alternatively, If you're unable to locate recently downloaded transactions, there are various areas to find them. See this article for your guide: What to do if you can’t find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Let me know how things go once you've tried the steps by posting a comment below. I'll be happy to help you further. Have a great day.
Apologies, I'm using Quickbooks Self-Employed so I'm the only one logging in to it. As I mentioned earlier I created an invoice yesterday all good, and today my company name is different. I was able to set it back but no one else changed anything, which is why I assumed something changed on the backend with Intuit.
I appreciate your immediate response, @Jimmyd998.
Let me route you to the best support who can help investigate the unauthorized change of your company name in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
Since the Community is a public forum, and we'll need to collect some personal information to pull up your account, I encourage you to reach out to our Customer Care team. They can create a case to trigger an investigation and verify any changes on Intuit's backend. Here's how:
Once everything is all set, you may also want to check out one of our Help pages as your reference in managing your business's growth and transactions using QBSE: QuickBooks Learn and Support. It includes help articles, Community discussions with other users, and video tutorials, to name a few.
Let me know if you have other account management concerns or questions about managing invoices in QBSE. I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @Jimmyd998.
