Welcome to the Community, Gonzalo. I'll guide you with modifying your group tax in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I want to inform you that you should deactivate the group tax so that you no longer encounter this tax rate on your transactions. If you need to change that rate, deactivate it first and then create a new one. You can follow these steps to inactivate it.
- In the Tax Centre, use the side arrows to find the tax you want to deactivate.
- Choose the option Edit tax located in the upper right corner.
- Click on Edit rates.
- From the VAT Rates window, locate the group tax from the list you want to remove.
- For custom rates, select Edit under Action, and then click on Make inactive.
To verify if you have successfully deactivated them, you can apply a filter in the Settings and mark the option Include inactive. It will display the group tax in the VAT Rates window. Alternatively, you can enable it again if you wish to reactivate it.
