Custom GST rate should impact both CGST and SGST ledgers

I added custom GST tax rate of 0.1% (CGST 0.05% and SGST 0.05%) in quickbooks online but when i create an invoice and select the tax rate, only CGST @ 0.1% is reflecting and no SGST. Is there any way to create a tax rate where both CGST and SGST are calculated and reflected in the invoice?

know it can be challenging when your taxes don't reflect on the transactions, shravan1. I'm here to help you with that.

Yes, there is a way to create a tax rate where both CGST and SGST are calculated and reflected in the invoice. To do this, let's use the Group rate option. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Click on Add tax and select Group rate.
  3. Enter a Group NameDescription, and select the Tax rate you want to add.
  4. On the Applicable on drop-down menu, select the correct amount.
  5. After that, click on Save.

Once done, you can now create invoices.
