Hi there, llaraqui.
Currently, there's no option to freeze the currency rate.
However, I've got an alternative method you can perform so you're able to create your own currency.
You'll have two options on how to create your own currency rate. From the Currency Centre and while you enter your transactions. Please note that changing rates from the Currency Center is to be used for an entire day.
Here's how to set your own exchange rates from the Currency Centre:
- Click the Gear icon at the top right. Then choose Currencies.
- Find the currency to change and click Edit currency exchange rate from the Action column.
- From the Edit currency exchange rate window, choose Your rate radio button.
- Enter the new rate in the field provided.
- Hit the Save button.
Follow the steps below on how to manually add an exchange rate when entering a transaction.
- Create the invoice or bill.
- From Customer or Supplier name field, select the Currency field.
- Enter the exchange rate to use for the new currency.
- Choose Use for this transaction only or Use for all new transactions in (currency) for (date).
- Fill in the necessary fields.
- Hit Save.
For additional information, you can check this article:Enter an exchange rate. This article also provides more details on how the system calculates the exchange rate.
