How can we cancel the use of the TAX section?

I'll share different methods to cancel the tax section, yshaveiko.

 

If you're referring to turning off the sales tax feature, this is currently unavailable in your region. In the meantime, you can edit rates and select one to make inactive. I'll show you how.

 

On the other hand, if you'd like to disable the tax rate field when creating transactions, this is also unavailable. As a workaround, choose 0% so as not to calculate any tax amount. This eliminates the tax while saving the entries seamlessly. Otherwise, create a custom tax rate (0%).

 

Furthermore, let's pick the Out of scope of Tax settings as your preference. Follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. On the Accounting section, choose Out of scope of Tax under the default tax rate selection.
