I need to record my purchase invoices with GST in quick book and need to report inventory status

Hi @vijiselvi87-gmai,

Thank you for posting here in the Community. I'm here to help you record the invoices with GST in QuickBooks.

You can customize your invoice template to make it GST-compliant. The first thing to do is add your GSTIN to the system.

Here's how:

  1. From the Home screen, click on the Gear Menu.
  2. Beneath the column heading Settings, select the Custom Form Styles tab.
  3. Select Edit, then choose Content.
  4. In the right section, click on the pencil icon to open the custom form.
  5. Select the Customer GSTIN checkbox.

After following the steps, please proceed with adding the HSN/SAC column. Please follow these steps:

  1. From the Home screen, click on the Gear Menu.
  2. Beneath the column heading Settings, select the Custom Form Styles tab.
  3. Select Edit > Content
  4. Now click on the pencil icon on the right in the second section of the custom form.
  5. Select the Item Code checkbox on the left section. Click Done.

Once these fields are enabled you can view the changes by selecting Print or Preview.

Please refer to these screenshots for your visual guide:

I've also attached an article that will help run the report you need for the inventory status: Use reports to see your sales and inventory status.
