To clarify, may I know the country version of your QBO account? This information is helpful so I can provide a timely solution. In the meantime, below are the steps you can take if your using the US or the Global version.
In QBO US version, the available liability periods for archiving payroll tax forms made several years ago only extend 1-2 years depending on the type. To know more about this, please visit this article: Access payroll tax forms and tax payments.
As long as you're using QBO Payroll on that specific years, our Customer Care team may be able to use that details to rebuild the form. Here's how to contact them:
- Head to the Contact Us page at this link.
- Select the Search for something button and enter your specific concern. Example: Retrieved payroll tax form from several years ago.
- Then, click Search.
- Select Start message.
If you're using the Global version, the payroll feature is currently unavailable for it.
