recenlty CBA updated netbank security and everytime I login QB tells me there is an issue with the beed & to fix it. This requires a notification to my app everytime I refresh QB feed.
I was sent an email to fix this and to connect a direct feed, or in my case 'get a better connection' since I have a CBA feed already.
However, when I click the suggested link to "link account" there is NO option to get a better connection, and if I go through the process of direct feed the bank account I need it linked to is not available to chose in the list since it is already linked to a feed.
If i remove the feed it says the bank account will no longer be available in the transaction page!!!
why can't I see the "get better connection" choice in my file.
As part of a security update by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, additional verification is necessary each time you refresh the Bank transactions page (Bank Feed), Kwikbooks.
The system will send an authorization notification to your registered device for approval. Then, the upgrade process for your Standard Bank connection to a Direct Bank connection is initiated.
Disconnecting your current Standard Bank connection is necessary to complete the upgrade process and remove the Get a better connection prompt.
When reconnecting your bank, you now have the option to establish a Commonwealth Bank Direct Feed connection. For more information, you can refer to these articles:
Your CBA Direct Feed will be set up within 10 business days. If the process takes longer than expected, we recommend contacting our Live Support Team for assistance.
You can format a CSV file and import it to QuickBooks Online while waiting for the upgraded connection to bring in your transactions.
