The duplicated transactions don't seem to follow any pattern.
Let's ensure we clear up these duplicate transactions promptly and stop them from happening in the future, Louise.
When you connect your bank account to QuickBooks Online, it automatically downloads your most recent transactions. Since banks connect differently, duplicates can sometimes occur, especially if you reconnect your bank account multiple times.
Also, please check that you haven’t manually entered a transaction that QuickBooks has already downloaded from your bank, as this can cause duplicates.
Before proceeding, I recommend double-checking your bank statement by logging into your bank’s website and reviewing the statement for the period where you see duplicates.
Then, verify your online bank connections in QuickBooks to ensure your bank or credit card account is connected only once. Multiple connections can cause duplicate downloads.
Once you’ve verified these, you can proceed with removing the duplicate transactions. If the duplicates appear in the For Review tab, here’s how to exclude and delete them:
