I have another way on how to do this, yuki-hasegawa,
You can set up an account from the Accounting panel. This way, it'll not ask you to connect your bank.
I've added an article to get more details on how to manage default and special accounts in the Chart of Accounts.
You can go back this thread if you have additional questions as you go along in the Chart of Accounts. I'll be around to help.
However, if you want to connect your bank account in QuickBooks, you can follow these steps below:
Once connected, QuickBooks automatically download your bank data. You can then review to match and categorize downloaded transactions. Should you opt for direct connect, follow the steps in this topic: If your account will use a direct-feed connection outlined in this help article: Add and connect to a bank or credit card account.
I'd also appreciate it if you can be more specific about what you want to achieve so I can help you more?
Looking forward to hearing again from you. Keep safe.
See this is the problem, You have just copied a page and posted it. You did not address the problem how to set Petty Cash up as a separate account like a Credit Card. Then on your reply say to go to your collegs adress that don't work.
Hello there, Rossco1.
When you create an account we have the option to connect it or not. Also, to setup a Petty Cash account, we'll use the Cash on hand type and name it as Petty Cash to easily identify it. I also suggest reaching out to an accountant in setting it up correctly depending on our business preference.
For the detailed steps on how to create and manage petty cash, you can click this link: Set up and use petty cash.
I'm here if you need anything else. Take care!
