I want to delete my account I don't need it it was created by mistake?

Thanks for posting in the Community.

We're unable to automatically delete an account in QuickBooks Online, this is to give time to customers to retrieve and download their data. If you'll not use the account, you can cancel the subscription using the steps below.

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Click on Settings, and click on Account & Settings.
3. Click on Billing & Subscription tab.
4. Click on Cancel subscription.
5. Complete the prompts to fully cancel the account.

Cancelled accounts is good as read only access file and system will perform account deletion based on the date placed. 

Furthermore, if you wanted to request to delete your data. You can log in to Intuit Account manager site. Here's how:

1. Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
2. Select Sign in & security, Profile, Data privacy, or Products & billing to review the settings.
3. Select a field and follow the steps to make any updates.

Hello ken1745,

It's sad to see you go and not continue your QuickBooks Online subscription. Let me provide you with the steps on how to cancel your QuickBooks Online account.

1. Log in to QuickBooks Online using a web browser.
2. Click on Settings icon and choose Billing & Subscription.
3. Click on the product you wish to cancel, then select Cancel subscription.
4. Once you've filled out the information needed, click on Continue to cancel.
5. Click on Got it.

After cancelling your QuickBooks Payroll subscription, your data will remain available in read-only access for 12 months from the cancellation date, as long as you log in once every few months.

I recommend exporting list and report for back up purposes prior to cancelling the account for data keeping purposes.
