Linking Heritage Bank in QB self employed

Let's find your bank so you can connect it to QuickBooks Self-Employed, Tracey33.

There are a few reasons why you're unable to search for a financial institution. I'll share them with you:

  • The bank has multiple names on the list.
  • The bank doesn't connect to all account types (personal or business account).
  • The bank is not a participating institution.

First, let's check the following so we can find the bank when you search:

  • Check the spelling. Let's ensure it is exactly as it appears on your bank's website.
  • Use names that are very specific to search for your bank.
  • Enter your bank's URL in the search field.
  • Look for the issuing bank's name. It's the bank that issued your card.

Next, we can try other listed versions of the bank's name. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Go to Bank accounts.
  3. Click Add account or Connect another account.
  4. Enter the name of the bank.
  5. Select it when it appears from the list.
  6. Continue to add the account.

However, if you're still unable to find the bank, we'll have to request support for your financial institution. You can follow Step 3 of this article to help you: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

I'll also include this as a future reference: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I have tried all the suggested steps numerous times over the last 3 days.  I have even requested support from my financial institution using step 3 with no response or assistance from QB.
