Hi there, dominic-rsquared.
We'd want to make sure that you're able to update the bank and download your transactions. Can you also tell us the name of the bank that's connected in your QuickBooks Self-Employed account?
There are times that too much cache or browser issues can interrupt the connection between banks and QuickBooks. I'll recommend some steps that can resolve some of the most common banking errors in QBSE.
Start by using an incognito/private browsing session or a different browser. Here are some of keyboard shortcuts to quickly open an incognito session:
You can also use any of these browsers if you have them installed in your computer. Then, go back to your QBSE account and proceed to the Bank account section and click the Refresh all button.
Once done, proceed to the Transactions tab and check if you can already see new transactions. You can also click the articles below in case you get the following errors:

I have three separate QBOA, two business and one personal. All these accounts have direct bank feeds from ANZ and Westpac. Surprisingly, since a week, I have been having issues updating the QBOA accounts with bank feeds. I have raised these issues with QB support and have been advised, their engineers are working on the issue and will be advised when ready. Interestingly one of the bank accounts from ANZ, which was setup for direct bank feeds more than 2 weeks ago is working fine, but other bank accounts, which were setup in the last week is having issues. I have tried disconnecting and re-connect and still no luck. There are several accounting tasks to be completed for the EOFY and really hope this issue get resloved ASAP. On another note, I also have another business account on Xero accounting platform, but have no issues at all. I was pursuaded by my accountant to start using QBO and hoping for a better experience. I must admit, QB phone and chat support team are wonderful and very helpful.
Thanks for joining this thread, MaestroIT.
This isn’t the kind of experience I want for you, especially when using the bank feeds feature. Let me point you in the right direction on how to fetch the latest entries for your accounts.
As mentioned by our support team, our engineers are working to get the online banking issue as soon as possible.
We encourage all affected users to manually upload their transactions using a CSV file. Check this article for detailed instructions: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Let me share the following links for additional resources. You'll see tips and solutions on how successfully import bank data into your company, and fix common online banking errors. From there, you’ll also learn the supported template for CSV files.

Thank you for your reply, information and instructions.
I have used alternative method of manual CSV import into QB in the past and have concerns over duplicated transactions. Moreover, this same issue had happened in the past back in 2019 as per some of this Forum discussions. Some users have recently reported this issue a few weeks ago and you're still working on a solution. Bank feeds are a fundamental layer of Accounting Apps and hope we get a solution sooner.
Upon checking this Forum further, it appears the bank feed error, has been a frequent issue. I am really frustrated for an organisation of a magnitude of Intuit, these issues should have been resolved long time ago. I have recently created, three separate QBOA with six different bank accounts and I am stuck without being able to get my EOFY reports. Importing CSV files manually is not an option in my case. If this issue does not get resolved within the next few days, I have no choice but to close QBOA and move to Xero platform.
