Would you be able to provide some additional clarification to what you mean and what your trying to do? Are you trying to create a deposit, or are you trying to create a sales receipt?

As I explained I need to create a rule to make a transaction to be a sales receipt. When setting up the rule, it does not give me the option to identify the category.

Thanks for clarifying, I see what you mean. This is the expected behavior, Sales Receipts cannot be associated with Accounts (Categories); this is because the Sales Receipts will always be associated with the Sales Accounts by default. Similarly, you are not able to edit the category on a Sales Receipt when you enter one manually. You are however able to associate it with products and services.
