RECON TAB

Hello ManVi,

If this is your first time reconciling your bank account in QuickBooks Online, click on Get started option. After clicking the Reconcile button, and you'll be routed to the page where you're asked to select a Bank account, ending balance and date.

If your accounts are connected to online banking, make sure you match and categorize all of your downloaded transactions. Our goal is to be able to cross match the transactions in QBO with your bank statement.

To start reconciling the account:

  1. Click on Settings ⚙ and then Reconcile. If you're reconciling for the very first time, select Get started.
  2. From the Account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to reconcile. Make sure it's the same one on your statement.
  3. Review the Beginning balance
  4. Enter the Ending balance and Ending date on your statement.
  5. When you're ready to start, select Start reconciling.
