Hi Chris,
Thank you for reaching out. Are you able to provide a little more detail on the issue? We have seen instances where ANZ bank feeds are importing expenses as income. Is this what is happening?
Thanks,
Rebecca
Yes that sounds like what’s happening. ANZ importing as income. Not expense. Comes up under receive not spent.
I have unlinked accounts. Then re-linked it but still the same issue. For credit card and main business account.
Hello @Chris Fish,
Thanks for providing clarification about the issue happening with your ANZ bank account. Let me help you figure out why it's importing as income in QuickBooks.
Since the problem persists after re-linking the account, I recommend you proceed with logging in to your bank's website. This way, we'll be able to check if your expense transactions are showing as an income from the statement as well.
The data downloaded to QuickBooks depends on the information shared by your financial institution. If the figures are showing incorrectly, you'll need to contact the Bank Support Team for further assistance.
However, if it's reflecting as expenses from the website, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. One of them will need to take over and perform an escalation if necessary to fix the problem.
Here's how you can reach them:
You can also check the article below for more details about you can manually import bank data into QuickBooks: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
