Did you use Odyssey for migration services from your old Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks Online?
If so, I would recommend checking out the post-migration checklist to see if there were any instructions given there to help you reconcile transactions.

Hi Kristian, thanks for the reply. I did use Odyssey for the transfer but when I asked them about it the referred me to QuickBooks for the answer. I tried live chat and got told that the reconciliation record of individual accounts does not get carried over which doesn't seem right for such a well known bit of software.
