Hello, ikram.

I'm pleased to help you fix the error message you encountered when importing timesheets to QuickBooks Online. Let's check to see if a cache-related issue causes this. When a browser's cache is full or corrupted, matters like this will become more common.

Let's rule this out by using an incognito or private window:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P.

Log in to QBO, then import your timesheet to QuickBooks again. When you can, let's go back to the regular browser and clear the cache so the system can start fresh.

After following the prompts, close out any browser processes, then re-open your preferred browser so you can work on your books. Another option is to use a different supported browser

Also, we need to make sure when importing timesheets from Deputy, employee, and location, data needs to exist and match the data from the timesheets being imported.

To import timesheets from Deputy, please navigate to Employees:

  1. From the Employees heading, select Manage Employees
  2. Choose Import Timesheets
  3. If your connection with Deputy is not set up correctly, you will see you have enabled your connection.

I have found some helpful information about Importing Timesheets from Deputy that you can check out using this article: Importing Timesheets from Deputy
