I lost my bank feed%2C then managed to reinstate. But now when I go to reconcile the account its shows a zero starting balance?

Is this your first time reconciling this bank account? Bank balance is affected by your downloaded transactions under the For Review tab in the Banking page. Let's check your bank register to verify if there is an opening balance entered. Here's how:

1. Click on the Transactions tab.
2. Click on Chart of accounts.
3. Locate the bank account name and click on Account history.
4. Locate Opening balance equity.

Refer to the screenshot below. 

If you don't see an opening balance, you can create one using a journal entry.
