Currently, it's not possible to change the BAS status from Lodged to Lodged with ATO in QuickBooks. When you mark a BAS as Lodged in QuickBooks, this is primarily for record-keeping purposes and simply indicates that the BAS period has been finalized within your accounting records.
If you’ve manually lodged your BAS with the ATO (via the ATO Business Portal or paper forms), we recommend keeping a copy of the receipt or lodgement confirmation as proof of submission for your records.
To lodge and track its status directly in QuickBooks, you can enable Direct BAS Lodgement by connecting your account to the ATO.
