I sell some products that have serial numbers. I would like to have a feature where a serial no. is requested whenever one of the items is sold. This is to ensure that the serial number is not omitted during the sales process.

You can enter your serial number in the SKU field when adding your products and services in QuickBooks Online. Then, when you create your sales transaction and select the product or service, the serial number entered in the SKU will be displayed on the sales form.

Then, I recommend checking your Custom form styles and make sure the SKU is ticked in COLUMNS section.
