Getting gst error message in invoicing

Hi Tonybalda,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

When creating invoices let's make sure you have assigned a GST tax code to them. Check if in the Amounts are you have set Exclusive of tax or inclusive of tax. And in the GST column make sure you've selected GST 10% tax code to avoid GST error.

To isolate the situation encountered, let's perform some basic troubleshooting. To start with, use a new incognito window or a different supported browser. Using a new incognito window does not store any data file.

Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Then, log in to qbo.intuit.com and enter your user id and password. And access your invoicing page and see if the same error shows up.

If using the new incognito window resolves the problem. Let's go back to your default browser and clear cache and cookies to avoid unexpected behavior when accessing QBO.

Post again in the Community if you have other concerns. I am around to help you.
