Hi there, ask_thilanka.
To find the GST purchase and GST sales, I suggest going to the GST tab. From there, it will display the total sales (including GST), total purchases, GST collected on sales, and GST paid on purchases.
Here's how:
- Click the GST tab at the left panel.
- Choose Prepare BAS.
- QuickBooks will display the total sales (including GST), total purchases, GST collected on sales, and GST paid on purchases.
For additional information, please refer to this article: Lodging BAS and IAS. This also provides information on how to apply for a GST payment.
Please check this article to see what is the difference between the Classic GST Centre Settings and the New GST Centre Settings in QBO: GST Settings Overview.
Please let me know if you have other questions. I'm always here to help.
